FAQ

Noise seems scary, why should I come?

Luckily for you, the “Noise” in Noise Party is more for the collective Noise of a multitude of different wide ranging sounds. If you’re expecting an evening of a bunch of artists screaming into distortion pedals or someone ramming drumsticks into a washing machine, you won’t be finding that here (as cool as it may sound). These nights are booked with a wide array of sounds, so there’s something for everyone. While we can get heavy at some points, we want to show that there’s a beauty in all music.

Is this event all ages?

Yes! All shows at The Cedar Cultural Center are all ages. No need for a sitter, bring the kids! Students are highly encouraged to come as well! Students also receive a major discount on tickets at doors (only $10).

A concert on a Sunday? I have to work in the morning!

Don’t worry! Music starts at 7pm and ends well before 10pm. You’ll get to experience a fantastic show and still have time to re-watch an episode of “The Office” before you hit the hay.

Can I sit?

Absolutely! Noise Party is both seated and standing, so enjoy the music at whatever your comfort level.

I don’t know any of these people?

That’s the point! There’s too many artists that are not well known to the public eye, but they might be either legends to this specific scene or they could even be playing their first show! We want you to come in with an open mind and indulge yourself in pleasant surprises. So many people have been making so many cool things for so long, that it’s about time that they get a spot to show off their creations in front of a large audience.
